From the age of 18, is when i first started getting into high-end foundations and I’ve never gone back to drugstore foundations! I love having a full coverage look , i also think the base of the makeup is the most important. I’ve listed some of my Top quality foundations which i love.

APPLICATION:

I always ensure my face is well hydrated and prepared  before any foundation. I then add two blobs of foundations to the side of my hand, then use the beauty blender to apply on either sides of my cheek and forehead . ( I use the real technique one)

I have listed my collection of foundations which I’ve tried in the past and currently use now, these are brilliant build-able, medium to full coverage, high performance foundations for matte or dewy look.

OILY SKIN TIP

A good makeup setting spray for oily skin, i use either ELF Matte setting spray or the NYX spray both are very affordable and work.

DRY SKIN TIP

If you have dry skin (i have dry areas around my cheeks) then prep the skin with a thick moisturizer, i either use the origins skin zinging moisturizer or the Clinique moisturizer

Dior Skin Star

This foundation is the definition of real glowing skin,  this is medium to full coverage, light in texture, this is my go to foundation whenever I need a full base.

This is  satin, dewy, beautifully long-lasting. 031 is my shade it is a bit light but I balance it out with bronzer.

Armani Luminous Silk

It adds the most beautiful glow to the face, Medium coverage and looks amazing in photographs aswell! My shade 6.25 .

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Original

i bought this as i wanting something lighter than a foundation. This provides a buildable coverage throughout the entire day that looks natural and radiant.

My shade is Sand Beige, it’s not the perfect match  to my skin, it’s a tad light on my skin so again I balance it out with bronzer.

NARS Sheer Glow

This foundation gives me a heathy dewy look  on my skin and lasts all day with high coverage.The  packaging is weird, you need to purchase the pump dispenser separately. Nars has the best colour range for those who have yellow/olive skin tone.

NARS Luminous Weightless

This is a sheer runny formula which provides high coverage. When I first bought it didn’t suit my skin and it would stick to my dry patches and give unflattery look but after while i did end up loving it! i used a different method to apply the foundation and heavy moisturised my face beforehand which helped the foundation set well.

 My shade is Punjab for both.

Hope this summarises my collection of foundations. I would definitely repurchase all of these as they have worked amazing. I only have a small collection as I don’t tend to use foundation on most days.
