Everyday Makeup 💄

Face makeup

These are my “glam” everyday makeup products/ I use when I’m doing my makeup. On a day-to-day basis my makeup is very simple and natural.  Enjoy reading

Listed in the order that I apply:

L’Oréal-Paris-hydra-genius-liquid-care – This is the first thing I use after my morning skincare routine before any other makeup is applied. Apply this to the face the texture is very sticky but once dry it leaves skin smooth and fresh.

IDÉAL SOLEIL Mattifying Face Dry Touch SPF 50 –  Again I use this every day , this is an important step into my skincare routine, its helps to provides high protection in the summer  and winter time .

Eye Cream : Kiehls Avocado Eye Cream   – This is a rich and creamy eye cream that works wonderfully for my under-eye area. It is also gentle as it doesn’t sting my eyes. I notice the skin under my eyes look and feel softer and smoother. Note that it only hydrates; it doesn’t have any brightening effect

Concealer : Nars radiant Cream  –   My everyday concealer I’m the shade in ginger which I thought it would be dark but it works.  A medium coverage but buildable depending how much product you use, leaves the under eyes looking healthy and hydrating. Good at covering spots and blemishes. I use this under eyes, any spots on my face.  I use my damp beautyblender to blend everything into my skin.

Foundation: Diorskin Star  (my color: “031”) – I start by placing about 3 small pumps of this foundation onto the back of my hand and with the same beautyblender ,I begin to apply to my face and just under my chin and onto the start of my neck.

Setting Powder (I mix both of the powders)

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder –  to set under my eyes I use beautyblender for full coverage or a small brush to light set, dab into the powder and then tap to remove any extra. Apply all over your face to set your makeup for the day.

Make Up Revolution – Banana powder  –  It’s a good setting powder leaves an airbrushed look under the eye, minimal coverage. Same technique I use a beauty blender (not damp) to achieve a full coverage or a brush to get a light coverage.

Not a blush person, I love the way bronzer looks on my skin after finishing the skin base. Bronzers can help to lighten and brighten your skin tone, as well as giving you a gorgeous glow all-year-round

Bourjois Bronzer  Its  matte and works as a great contour for light to medium skin tones.  The pigmentation of both illuminator and bronzer are buildable. It smells like chocolate and looks like it too! Apply in all places the sun would naturally hit your face (i.e. right under cheek bones, sides of your temple, bridge of your nose, jaw line, etc.)

Eyebrows: Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Palette ( I use “Dark brown”) –  I first use the Wax to shape out my brows, then use the powder to fill in the brows . As always, don’t forget to tap the brush and remove extra powder before applying.

Eyes: Bourjois Bronzer–   I use a fluffy brush and swipe over the bronzer onto the eyelids to give a little colour.

Mascara: L’Oreal Paris False Lash Telescopic –  This has been my go-to mascara for a couple of years now. I love that it doesn’t flake, smudge, or clump, and it makes my  lashes very long while not also making them seem fairly natural. However, it doesn’t do much in terms of volume, more for length which I like.
